Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support solar, BESS, and high-voltage infrastructure construction across project sites in the United States. The role requires relocation to the project site for the length of the project and close collaboration with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents.

Based at a project site, you will assist with field execution, safety, quality control, and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil, mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Basic knowledge of project management phases and safety regulations.
Ability to read IFC drawings and job specifications for civil and electrical work.
Strong coordination, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Acumatica, MS Project, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects of solar projects across an assigned scope.
Collaborate with project team to emphasize safety, quality, and communication.
Resolve issues through face-to-face communication and proactive problem solving.
Coordinate project activities with supervision from the assigned Superintendent.
Support project administration to ensure design, budget, and schedule adherence.
Coordinate progress with suppliers and subcontractors.
