Job summary

Weeks Marine, Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager/Project Engineer to oversee administrative and technical aspects of construction projects.

You will manage a team of field and cost engineers and serve as the main information conduit between Project/Construction Manager and the team for cost, revenue, and cash flow data. Based in the Northeast region (CT, NY, NJ), you may relocate as needed and could serve as Project Manager on smaller projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years’ work experience in construction or engineering.
• 2+ years' experience managing engineers.
• Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives.
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduling of the project.
• Revenue, cost, and cash flow management.
• Temp engineering.
• Permanent design management and quality control.
• Project closeout.
• Client relations.
• Assist in Operations planning.
• Administer contracts and subcontracts.

Education
