Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking a Field Engineer to implement and support complex communication system infrastructure, including RF and data networks, with emphasis on P25 and legacy analog systems.

You will collaborate with engineering and sales teams, lead onsite installations, and ensure thorough documentation and testing to meet customer expectations. This role requires extensive travel (>75%) and security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with RF systems and IP networks.
• Experience with Project 25 products (P25, ASTRO 25).
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks and firewall config.
• Experience with server virtualization and Windows server OS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, PM and Sales to design and implement advanced communication systems.
• Provide weekly activity reports and documentation for final system packages.
• Oversee onsite installation of network, server, and RF equipment and produce as-built docs.
• Perform onsite and remote configuration of networks, servers, RF, and databases, with baseline reports.
• Troubleshoot networks, servers, databases, and RF infrastructure; clear faults in logs.
• Conduct acceptance testing and provide test results for system documentation.
