Pearce is seeking an OSP Field Engineer to validate fiber network designs on-site, documenting facilities and taking precise measurements. The role requires strong knowledge of fiber construction, GIS, and AutoCAD, with travel to multiple sites across the U.S.

A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are essential. You will support engineering with detailed field notes, photos, and measurements, ensuring accurate data for desktop teams and mitigating potential obstructions to fiber

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in fiber-optic/telecommunications/telecom construction.
• Knowledge of outside plant activities and make-ready issues.
• Ability to read as-built prints and identify conflicts with existing facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Identify, photograph, and document detailed OSP facilities.
• Capture accurate measurements for attachment heights and distances.
• Identify utilities and ownership on poles and conduit facilities.
• Record bonding, grounding, and anchor information.
• Provide field notes and photos to engineering team.
• Suggest mitigation strategies for obstructions to fiber placement.
