Job summary

Overland Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer to support planning, organization, and execution of project engineering and field control tasks. You will interpret drawings for field crews, perform material and quantity calculations, and help prepare work plans and surveys.

The role requires at least 2 years in construction and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong leadership and communication, and independent work capability. Equal opportunity employer; benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a construction-related engineering field or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to lead and manage people and resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in interpreting drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
  • Perform quantity calculations by taking measurements and determining material percentages.
  • Assist in preparation of work plans and work packages.
  • Assist in field surveying and layout support including elevations and control points.
  • Assist in compiling daily labor timesheets and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA’s).
  • Order and schedule material deliveries.
  • Supervise field operations.
