Job summary

Russo Corporation seeks a motivated, detail‑oriented professional to support field operations on construction projects from planning through completion. You will work with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to plan.

You will review drawings, assist with layout and surveying, monitor field work for conformance, track progress, and support reporting, documentation, and quality control across active sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in construction field operations or project engineering preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction methods, plans and specifications, scheduling, and quality control practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • OSHA 30 preferred; must obtain within first year.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related project management tools; experience with construction software is a plus.
  • Experience with HCSS HeavyJob or other PM software preferred.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents.
  • Comfortable working in an active field environment and adapting to changing priorities.

  • Assist Engineers with drafting and calculations for the design of deep foundation and earth retention.
  • Assist in identifying and documenting discrepancies, conflicts, or potential constructability concerns.
  • Perform quality control checks, inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate field records, daily reports, logs, and other project documentation.
  • Help enforce project safety practices and promote a safe work environment at all times.
