Job summary

BlueTide Communications Corporation is seeking a Field Engineer for a blended on-site and remote role within our MSP. You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize client IT environments, covering VoIP systems, cameras, network gear, and endpoints.

You will monitor systems via RMM, respond to alerts, document activities, and maintain network diagrams. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Industry certifications listed (A+, Network+, Security+, etc.).
• Experience supporting and deploying business IT infrastructure in field/MSP.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support including installation, configuration, maintenance, and issue resolution.
• Monitor client systems using RMM and respond to alerts, escalating as needed.
• Deliver excellent client service and communicate complex concepts clearly to users.
• Deploy and configure VoIP, security cameras, network gear, and end-user devices; ensure security best practices.
• Deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, wireless gear, and related network equipment.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services, configurations, and client environments.
• Provide end-user training and share knowledge with team; participate in ongoing training.
