Job summary

Roche Support Network is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to provide on-site service and repair for Roche products in the Minneapolis area. The role requires strong repair skills, customer-focused service delivery, and the ability to diagnose complex hardware/software issues with occasional travel.

The ideal candidate has engineering or technical training with 5 years of progressive repair experience and the flexibility to travel. A Bachelor’s in a related field improves fit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
• Ability to travel, including some overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Showcase expertise in technical repair for Roche product lines.
• Provide on-site service and repair for laboratory customers.
• Serve as customer contact for technical and service issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• Document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.
