Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Project Field Engineer/Lead Engineer for LNG plant projects in the US Gulf Coast region. The role involves field engineering leadership, work planning, material management, safety and quality oversight, and coordination of system turnover.

Some mobility to other global locations is expected as the project needs evolve. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 10–13 years (or 14–17 years) of relevant experience, plus experience in rotating/static equipment

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in overseeing the installation and inspection of rotating and static equipment.
• Experience in commissioning of rotating and/or static equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer responsibilities on medium to large projects, coordinating multiple disciplines or acting as Project Field Engineer for area turnover coordination.
• Coordinate between Construction and Startup to support system walkdowns and turnover processes.
• Review inspection test plans and coordinate subcontractor submittal reviews.
