Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting in pre-job planning, managing schedules, reviewing shop drawings, coordinating revisions with subcontractors, and tracking costs and manpower weekly to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Construction Management or related discipline.
• 1 year construction-related experience at minimum.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, PlanGrid, and ability to learn new software.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels, clients, vendors, and suppliers.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work well under pressure and high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation and planning of pre-job meetings (plans, specifications, budgets, cost targets, scheduling).
• Assists Project Manager(s) in the management of all assigned jobs.
• Reviews and processes shop drawings and submittals for accuracy.
• Distributes drawing revisions to PMs, Superintendents, and subcontractors and coordinates new shop drawings as necessary.
• Prices all drawing revisions and field changes; updates logs and budgets accordingly.
• Keeps project schedules updated and documents delays.
• Tracks manhours and job costs weekly.
