Qualifications

• Currently pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree from a four-year nationally accredited college or university.
• Must have a valid Driver's License, and acceptable driving record.
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reporting of daily activities of a construction or yard operations crew.
• Cost and implementation comparison of as-built construction activities to the as-bid estimates.
• Quantity tracking.
• Formwork and falsework details.
• Coordinate with project foremen and superintendents to write work procedures for activities.
• Development of project work element plans and hazard analysis.
• Computer Aided Drafting for analysis of equipment capabilities, depiction of work methods, access, and sequencing.
• Quantity takeoffs.
• Reading job specific specifications and standard specifications.
• Subcontractor and supplier coordination and quote comparisons.
• Estimate cost analysis and detail entry.
• Form and falsework detailing.
• Equipment analysis.
