Job summary

Manson Construction Co. in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Engineering Intern to join the Project Management Team. Interns provide onsite engineering and technical support, quality control, construction management assistance, land surveys, and help maintain a safe working environment, with dredging or marine construction experience preferred.

Travel is extensive. You will work both in the office and in the field on project sites across the west coast.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite engineering and technical support for field projects.
• Assist with construction management and project safety.
• Support land surveys and hazard analysis activities.
• Coordinate with project foremen, supers and subcontractors; assist in cost tracking.
• Prepare CAD drawings and quantities from drawings and field notes.
