Job summary

Manson Construction Co. seeks an Engineer Intern to support field and office teams across Northwest job sites. You will provide on-site engineering and technical support, quality control, construction management assistance, land surveys, and help maintain a safe work environment. Dredging or marine experience is preferred; travel is extensive.

Interns work both in the office and in the field on project sites, with CAD analysis, scheduling, and hazard analysis under supervision.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year accredited degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report daily activities of a construction or yard operations crew.
• Quantity tracking and formwork/falsework detailing.
• Coordinate with project foremen and superintendents to write work procedures.
• Develop project work element plans and hazard analyses.
• CAD analysis for equipment capabilities, work-method depiction, access and sequencing.
