Job summary

Manson Construction Co. is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the Project Management Team across our west coast project sites. You will provide onsite engineering and technical support, quality control, construction management assistance, land surveys, and help maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

Pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree at a four-year college/university.
Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

Reporting daily activities of a construction or yard operations crew.
Cost and implementation comparison of as-built activities to as-bid estimates.
Quantity tracking and takeoffs.
Formwork and falsework detailing.
Coordinate with project foremen and superintendents to write work procedures.
Development of project work element plans and hazard analyses.
CAD analysis for equipment capabilities, work methods, access, and sequencing.
Subcontractor and supplier coordination and quote comparisons.
Estimate cost analysis and detail entry.
