Job summary

Manson Construction Co. is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the Project Management Team across west coast job sites. You will provide onsite engineering and technical support, assist with quality control and construction management tasks, and help with land surveys and safety programs.

Travel is extensive and dabbed duties include CAD analysis, estimating support, and coordination with foremen and superintendents to ensure safe, efficient work on dredging and marine projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree from a four-year nationally accredited college or university.
• Must have a valid Driver's License, and acceptable driving record
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred

Responsibilities

• Report daily activities of a construction or yard operations crew.
• Assist in cost and as-built comparison to estimates and quantity tracking.
• Coordinate with project foremen to write work procedures and hazard analyses.
• Develop project work element plans and hazard analyses; CAD analysis of equipment and methods.
