Job summary

Manson Construction Co. is seeking Engineer Interns to join the Project Management Team across the southeast U.S. office and field locations.

Interns provide onsite engineering support, quality control, and construction management assistance while supporting land surveys and safety programs. Travel is extensive and dredging/marine experience is preferred. Interns work both in the office and in the field on project sites, with responsibilities spanning CAD, quantity takeoffs, and coordination

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year accredited degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
• Experience with AutoCAD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report daily activities of a construction or yard operations crew.
• Assist with cost and quantity tracking, as-built vs. bid comparison.
• Coordinate procedures with project foremen and superintendents and assist in hazard analysis.
• Perform CAD analyses for equipment capabilities and work sequencing.
• Engage in field and office work across project sites.
