JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Field Engineer 2 to support field activities on routine projects. You will supervise a crew, perform self-perform work, and ensure tasks align with the project plan while upholding safety standards.

The role emphasizes learning company processes, Lean practices, communication with foremen and superintendents, and collaboration across trades. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 2+ years of construction experience or supervision.

Qualifications

• 2+ years construction experience (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternative experience considered.
• Ability to read plans, manage crews and ensure safety.
• Strong communication and teamwork across trades.
• Familiarity with Lean construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Plans, executes and reports self-perform work.
• Pre-plans crew activities and updates supervisor.
• Supports safety plans and ensures compliance.
• Assists with quality assurance/quality control.
• Coordinates with superintendent on site tasks.
• Leads planning meetings and weekly work plans.
