Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking Field Engineers to support civil and geotechnical projects across several locations in Wisconsin, including Chippewa Falls. You will perform field and laboratory testing, assist in report preparation, and collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure accurate data collection and quality outcomes.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Civil/Geological engineering, 0–3 years of experience, and EIT/PE potential is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geological, or related Engineering field.
• 0-3 years of experience in engineering or science related field.
• EIT and ability to achieve PE preferred.
• Internship or previous work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical field testing according to QA procedures.
• Perform soil laboratory tests according to QA procedures.
• Prepare reports of field and laboratory work.
• Communicate with clients to determine project needs.
• Assist in maintaining and improving the materials testing laboratory.
