Job summary

GBA Builders seeks a Field Engineer to support field operations, coordinating daily construction activities, promoting safety, and assisting with project documentation across the United States. You will work with the Superintendent and project team to ensure successful execution of projects.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering with 1–4 years of experience and OSHA 30 certification. Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication are essential, with travel to job sites

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; 1–4 years of experience.
OSHA 30-hour certification.
First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing jobsite conditions and team dynamics.
Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive.
Interest in learning and professional development.
Basic understanding of emotional intelligence and its impact on others.

Responsibilities

Promote and support GBA’s Health and Safety Program on all sites.
Assist with JHAs, safety reviews, and training initiatives.
Support supervision and coordination of subcontractors and vendors.
Order materials and schedule deliveries to align with schedules.
Prepare detailed work plans and work packages.
Assist with quality assurance, equipment scheduling, and drawings interpretation.
Verify quantity calculations and support field surveying.
Compile labor timesheets and maintain project records.
Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
Attend meetings and support additional project needs.
Travel to job sites as needed; operate company vehicle.
