Job summary

Carrier’s Automated Logic division seeks a Field Engineer to install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems across our building automation projects in Minnesota. You will troubleshoot, train owners, and collaborate with project managers to ensure performance and on-time delivery.

This full-time role requires 2+ years in HVAC or building automation, IP networking or PLC programming, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in HVAC, Building automation, IT, or Industrial Networking.
• Experience with IP networking, Modbus, or PLC programming.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems.
• Train owners on system operation and work with Project Managers on risk management.
• Travel and own projects end-to-end while maintaining documentation.
• Support continuous improvement through project reviews.
