Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Controls Field Engineer to lead the field commissioning of building automation systems for diverse customers. You will join a team delivering reliable BAS solutions, with emphasis on time management, communication, and technical excellence.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, software loading, and hands-on training for owners/operators, with opportunities to contribute to project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in Building Automation and HVAC.
• Capable of climbing ladders or lift equipment over 8 feet and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot and optimize customer systems using advanced BAS.
• Serve as local field contact for technical issues.
• Provide turnkey project delivery on small to medium projects.
• Load software, configure trends, alarms and reports.
• Communicate project status and details to the customer.
