Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, seeks a Field Engineer to deliver durable building automation solutions. You will apply sound technical judgment on complex projects, own end-to-end delivery, and travel as required to support operations.

You’ll troubleshoot and optimize DDC systems while ensuring safety and quality. The role demands hands-on installation, commissioning, and system verification, with a focus on proactive problem solving and owner training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in HVAC, Building automation, IT, or Industrial Networking with IP networking, Modbus, or PLC experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing.
• Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and using ladders and motorized lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• System Performance: Install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems to meet performance standards.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Use technical judgment to solve automation challenges and mitigate risks.
• Technical Leadership: Train owners on system operation and partner with Project Managers to improve execution.
• Travel & Growth: Travel as needed and maintain end-to-end project ownership.
• Project Integrity: Maintain accurate documentation and participate in project reviews.
