Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, seeks a Field Engineer to deliver durable, high-performance building automation solutions. You will apply sound technical judgment to complex projects, lead field execution, and travel as needed to support operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years of professional experience in HVAC, Building Automation, IT, or Industrial Networking, including direct experience with IP networking, Modbus protocols, BACnet protocols, or PLC programming.
• Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as squatting and climbing for extended periods; capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient with ladders and motorized lift equipment.

Responsabilités

• System Performance: Install, commission, and optimize advanced DDC systems; ensure controls, sensors, and networks meet performance standards.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Use technical judgment to solve automation challenges and mitigate project risks before they impact timelines.
• Technical Leadership: Train owners on system operation and partner with Project Managers to manage risks and improve execution.
• Travel & Growth: Travel as needed and take end-to-end ownership of complex projects.
• Project Integrity: Maintain accurate documentation and participate in project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
