Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group in Tampa is seeking a Field Engineer to join the CORE trade family and support field crews on cutting-edge projects. You’ll learn construction methods, participate in safety culture, and contribute to collaborative teams.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of experience and a related degree or apprenticeship. The role offers growth on industrial, data center, and manufacturing sites within a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• Participation in a federally required training or apprenticeship program, depending upon location (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project safety plan and culture.
• Learns and actively participates in safety culture by mentoring others.
• Works with tools and completes self-perform tasks as part of a crew.
• Acquires knowledge about company standards and fundamentals for building techniques through hands-on training.
• Builds relationships with trades people and project team members (foreman, journeymen, superintendents, subcontractors).
• Develops understanding of functions across the company and how they contribute to project success.
• Learns and applies company standards for equipment usage in building processes.
• Collaborates with others and demonstrates teamwork.
• Incorporates Lean practices into daily activities.
• Participates in weekly work plans and site practices.
