The candidate will provide on-site service, diagnose issues, document solutions, and support customers with hardware/software troubleshooting and basic networking tasks. The role requires physical capability to use a ladder and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 workplaces and peripherals.
• Familiarity with basic network/server concepts and Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Diagnoses errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions.
• Produces timely and detailed service reports.
• Documents processes.
• Collects and analyzes performance data to provide technical assistance.
• Ties workflow to schedule.
• Accurately documents solutions for complex issues.
• Creates workaround procedures when standard procedures fail and ensures issues are resolved.
• Troubleshoots and develops technical solutions for software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers.
• Builds positive relationships with customers.
• Ability to use a ladder.

Immediate need for a talented Field Engineer. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Pay Range: $18-$28/hour.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Troubleshooting skills (hardware/software), Windows 10/11 workstations and peripheral knowledge.
• Basic Network/server and application knowledge (Office 365, Outlook, etc.).
• Update asset management systems.
