Job summary

MasTec Industrial is hiring an Electrical Helper II to assist journeymen in installing electrical systems at project sites across our Texas field operations. You will follow project specs, support wiring, conduit, and lighting installations, and help ensure safety and quality on every task.

This full-time, on-site role requires 1–2 years of related experience, NCCER certification preferred, and willingness to travel up to 90%.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical helper II role.

Responsibilities

• Installations of Raceway Systems to meet project production standards.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks.
• May be required to pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
• Installation of small electrical equipment and supports.
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety paperwork on a daily basis.
• Demonstrate safety as a top priority.
• Learn project specifications and install electrical system to those standards.
