Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Electrical Helper IV to install electrical systems on project sites under the supervision of a Journeyman and Foreman. The role emphasizes safe work practices, accurate conduit installation, and adherence to NEC standards.

The candidate should have 3–4 years of related experience and preferably NCCER certification, with a strong focus on safety and quality workmanship on industrial projects.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical helper IV role

Responsibilities

• Install raceway systems per project standards
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit
• Weld supports and install cable and duct banks
• Pull wires through conduit and connect to lighting fixtures and equipment
• Install small electrical equipment and supports
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety paperwork daily
• Adhere to National Electric Code (NEC) requirements
• Interpret project specifications and install accordingly
• Identify ways to improve safety, quality, and productivity
• Install systems neatly and professionally
