Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Electrical Helper II to install electrical systems under supervision at project sites. The role focuses on conduit, wiring, and light equipment installation, with on-site safety as a priority and routine toolbox meetings.

The position requires 1–2 years of related experience (NCCER preferred) and reading of safety rules and drawings. Travel up to 90% and a 50-hour workweek are common on projects.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical helper II role.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Installations of Raceway Systems to meet project production standards.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks.
• Pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
• Install small electrical equipment and supports.
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety paperwork daily.
• Demonstrate safety as a top priority.
• Learn project specifications and install electrical system to those standards.
