Job summary

MasTec’s Industrial group seeks an Electrical Helper to install electrical systems per project specs under the supervision of Journeyman and Foreman. Responsibilities include installing raceway, conduit, wiring, and electrical equipment, while maintaining safety standards on site.

Applicants should have 2–3 years in related roles, NEC knowledge, and NCCER certification preferred. Travel to project sites is required, with risks of long shifts and physical work.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years related experience and/or training
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical helper III role

Responsibilities

• Install raceway systems to project production standards
• Measure, cut, bends, threads, and install electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks
• May pull wire through conduit; connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment
• Install small electrical equipment and supports
• Attend safety meetings and complete safety paperwork daily
• Demonstrate safety as a top priority
• Learn project specifications and install electrical systems accordingly
