Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks an Electrical Helper II to install electrical systems on project sites under the supervision of Journeyman and Foreman. You will handle conduit, raceways, wiring, and associated supports while maintaining safety at all times.

Expect to participate in toolbox talks, understand project specs, and uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards. Travel up to 90% is required for on-site project work.

Qualifications

• NCCER Certification/License preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical helper II role.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Install raceway systems to project standards.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit and related components.
• Pull wire, connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment.
• Install small electrical equipment and supports.
• Attend daily safety meetings and complete safety paperwork.
• Demonstrate safety as a top priority.
• Understand NEC basics and general electrical systems.
• Learn project specs and install to standards.
• Look for ways to improve safety, quality and productivity.
• Install systems neatly and workmanlike.
