Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Site EHS Representative to support multiple construction projects in the Washington, DC metro area, serving as the on-site safety resource to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role emphasizes field inspections, safety reporting, and close collaboration with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• Target experience level of 3–5 years in safety roles.
• Experience conducting site inspections and safety observations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.
• EM385 Certification or ability to obtain EM385.
• OSHA 30 Certification and OSHA 510 Certification.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Perform field observations and document findings.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EM385, and project-specific safety requirements.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
• Provide safety training and toolbox talks.
• Develop and maintain safety documentation and reports.
• Communicate corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
• Partner with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
• Support safety initiatives across multiple active projects.
• Promote a positive and collaborative safety culture.
