Job summary

Sheakley seeks a Construction Safety Manager to lead EHS programs across multiple Denver-area projects. The role emphasizes safety leadership, incident investigations, and proactive risk management on ground-up and occupied facilities.

You will partner with project managers, superintendents, foremen, estimators, and owners to integrate safety into planning and execution, while ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and client requirements. This is a full-time W2/direct hire opportunity.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• 5+ years in construction safety for mechanical projects.
• Experience with plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Experience leading incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage company EHS programs.
• Conduct project inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Review JHAs, PTPs, permits, and lift plans.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training and onboarding.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into planning.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and safety metrics.
• Maintain safety documentation and reporting.
