Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Site EHS Representative in Washington, DC to provide boots-on-the-ground safety support for a Maryland Supreme Court construction project. The role focuses on field inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance with safety standards, reporting to project leadership.

You will lead safety training, identify hazards, and coordinate corrective actions while maintaining strong relationships with craft personnel to uphold safety culture and project productivity.

Qualifications

  • OSHA 30 Certification is required.
  • EM385 Certification is required.
  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification is required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a strong field presence throughout active work areas.
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Conduct and support safety training activities.
  • Reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel and supervision.
  • Review work activities and monitor compliance with safety procedures.
  • Coordinate safety activities with project management and field leadership.
  • Assist with incident investigations and corrective action implementation; maintain required safety documentation and reports.
  • Support implementation and enforcement of company safety policies.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the project.

Site EHS Representative

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: Full-Time Direct Hire (Initial Project Approximately 2 Years)

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Direct Hire W2

Compensation & Schedule

Salary: $75,000-$85,000 Annually

Bonus Potential: Based on company performance and program growth opportunities

Benefits: Full-Time Employee Benefits Package

Pay Frequency: Per Company Payroll Schedule

Schedule: Monday-Friday | First Shift | Approximately 40 Hours/Week

Additional Schedule Details: Long-term opportunity with continued project assignments following completion of the current project.
