Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
• BCSP certification (GSP or ASP) preferred.
• Experience applying OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency with project scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular job site inspections to identify and mitigate hazardous conditions.
• Support incident investigations including interviews, data collection, and documentation.
• Evaluate planning/permits (Hot Work, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Excavation, Steel Erection, Energized Work, Pre-cast Tilt-Up).
• Apply Industrial Hygiene principles for hearing conservation, silica, asbestos, lead work, etc.
• Understand fire protection and storage of flammable/combustible materials; maintain OSHA-related knowledge.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing; work with project teams to improve safety culture.
• Adapt duties based on site needs and location within the business unit.
