Job summary

Quantum Solutions is seeking a proactive Drone Pilot to join the Operations team, delivering solar inspections across the US. You will operate our Q.Fly drone systems in live customer environments, run missions to inspect sites, and provide technical feedback to engineering during product development.

This on-site role requires travel to client sites nationwide, with potential travel around California, Texas or Florida, and collaboration with teams in the UK and US.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience operating drones in field environments.
• Familiarity with UAV mission planning software and post-processing tools.
• Strong technical aptitude for imaging systems and data interpretation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer-facing work.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate DJI M350/400 drones with Q.Fly payloads for demonstrations, onboarding, and field testing.
• Develop, plan and execute drone flight missions for product demonstrations and inspections.
• Test and evaluate new payloads and features; provide feedback to engineering.
• Collect, analyse, and document flight data and performance reports.
• Maintain drone hardware and ground control equipment; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with engineering and marketing to refine customer experience and system performance.
