Job summary

Pence Contractors seeks a Project Engineer to support project teams by coordinating information, schedules, and quality controls on site and in the office. You will help ensure projects meet budget, schedule, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and field staff; preparing reports, maintaining records, and assisting in risk management and closeouts to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering Management or equivalent construction experience.
• 2+ years of applicable construction experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist projects teams with obtaining, evaluating, coordinating and distributing information and authorizations.
• Participate in jobsite safety obligations and meetings.
• Manage project information flow and submittal tracking to maintain quality and schedule.
• Prepare daily reports and assist with project closeout and documentation.
• Support project manager with budget, forecasting and invoicing processes.
