Job summary

The role emphasizes hands-on field involvement, collaboration with customers, design teams, and subcontractors, plus mentoring junior engineers and interns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering Management or similar degree.
• In lieu of degree commensurate experience in Construction field is acceptable.
• At least 2 years of applicable construction experience preferred.
• Experience with construction software platforms preferred.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• CPR and first aid certifications and OSHA 10 training due within six months.
• Must be available to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Mentors Project Administrators, Interns and fellow Project Engineers.
• Mitigates and reports project risk.
• Builds relationships with customers, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers and users.
• Enter timecard data and maintain job site filing.
• Assist with shop drawings and submittal review.
• Produce daily reports and track labor productivity.
• Assist with project schedule development and enforcement.
• Assist closeout and final documentation tasks.
