Job summary

R/S Electric is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to provide essential operational, logistical, and administrative support to Project Managers and Field Leadership.

You will manage project documentation, subcontractor coordination, labor tracking, and procurement oversight for complex electrical and mechanical projects, ensuring compliance and timely handovers across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of administrative experience within construction management, mechanical, plumbing, or electrical contracting fields.
• Proficiency with construction project management software (Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, e-Builder).
• Experience with specialized accounting/ERP platforms (Sage 100/300, Viewpoint, QuickBooks Contractor).
• Strong ability to read construction drawings, specs, and submittal sheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with field staff, vendors, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Process, log, and track RFIs and submittals between field crews, engineers, and general contractors.
• Coordinate permits, utilities, and inspection schedules; assemble closeout packages with manuals and drawings.
• Manage field labor data, safety certifications, and asset tracking across active sites.
• Generate and track POs, reconcile invoices, and maintain change order logs.
