Envista Forensics is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join its forensic team in the Greater Orlando area. The role involves field investigations and office work, with approximately 40% time spent in the field and the remainder from home when not infield.

You will investigate failures, prepare expert reports, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality results for clients, with travel 25-30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering is required.
• PE is preferred – EIT may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Investigate the origin and cause of failures in civil/structural projects at residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Analyze failures in building systems and evaluate construction or maintenance procedures.
• Perform field investigations and document damaged properties; lead multi-party examinations.
• Research failure modes and code requirements and prepare repair/remediation recommendations.
• Prepare reports outlining origin and cause of damages for clients.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on large, complex assignments.
