Envista Forensics is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer with a strong background in structural design, failure analysis, and both field and office work. The ideal candidate will investigate failures, assess building systems, and contribute to catastrophe responses while delivering clear client reports.

We value collaboration, integrity, and innovation, and expect 5–7+ years of relevant experience, a BS in civil/structural engineering, and active PE status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Active PE license preferred; state of employment.
• 5–7+ years of design experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Experience with commercial and industrial facilities is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and CRM.
• Willingness to travel 25–30%.

Responsabilités

• Investigates origin and cause of failures in civil/structural sites.
• Analyzes failures, evaluates construction quality, and reviews design or maintenance procedures.
• Participates in catastrophe responses (hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, etc.).
• Performs field investigations and leads multi‑party examinations and documentation.
• Researches failure modes and code requirements; prepares repair/remediation recommendations.
• Prepares clear, thorough reports outlining damages and causes.
• Provides expert testimony in court if required.
• Manages multi-disciplinary teams on large assignments.
• Establishes trusted relationships with clients and engages across engagements.
