American Engineering Testing (AET) invites you to join our Summer 2027 Internship program across multiple locations. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related fields who want hands-on experience in testing and field observations.

You will work with engineers and technicians on construction materials testing, learn procedures such as gradations, proctors, nuclear density gauges, DCP testing, sand cone density, and concrete testing, while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related degree.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing procedures and equipment such as gradations, proctors, nuclear density gauges, DCP field testing, sand cone density testing, field concrete testing, and concrete cylinder testing.
• Conduct field testing and observations of construction materials, including concrete, soils, aggregate, masonry, asphalt, and reinforcing steel.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and contractors at work sites.
• Additional miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Pursuing Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering degree

Valid driver's license
