Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) invites motivated students pursuing Civil or Geology engineering to join our Summer 2027 Internships across several locations. You will gain hands-on experience in construction materials testing and field observations, working with our engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing procedures and equipment such as gradations, proctors, nuclear density gauges, DCP field testing, sand cone density testing, field concrete testing, and concrete cylinder testing.
• Conduct field testing and observations of construction materials, including concrete, soils, aggregate, masonry, asphalt, and reinforcing steel.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and contractors at work sites.
• Additional miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis.
