Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) invites motivated students pursuing Civil or Geological Engineering to join our Summer 2027 Internship program in Minnesota. You will support field and laboratory testing, learn from experienced engineers, and engage in cross-disciplinary projects across geotechnical, environmental, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Civil Engineering or Geology-related degree.
• Ability to frequently lift 30–50 pounds and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing procedures and equipment such as gradations, proctors, and field testing.
• Conduct field testing and observations of construction materials.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and contractors at worksites.
• Perform additional assignments as needed.
