Job summary

LiftOne's Dock and Door Road Technician role is part of our service team, focusing on troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing loading dock and door equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, manage paperwork, and keep company vans and inventory in good order.

Candidates should have welding certification or willingness to obtain, plus strong customer service and vehicle operation skills. LiftOne offers a supportive, growth-oriented environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; welder certification preferred.
• Must be a certified welder or able to obtain certification within the first 30 days of being hired.
• Successful completion of the welder apprentice level or three years welding experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in the local language(s).
• Ability to perform duties at elevated heights and repair equipment by skill level.
• Basic Computer/Tablet knowledge and valid driver license with clean record.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify the general problem from customer concern and locate the failure.
• Complete repairs in a safe and efficient manner and test the equipment.
• Drive to and from locations to address on-site needs.
• Make necessary repairs with customer approval and perform basic maintenance.
• Process necessary documentation, ensure parts and time are itemized.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Properly identify and order replacement parts as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.
