Job summary

LiftOne, a division of Weisiger Group, is seeking an experienced Dock and Door Road Technician in the United States. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing loading dock assemblies and doors, and performing preventative maintenance on customer equipment.

You will manage paperwork and maintain a company van and inventory for on-site service. The position requires welding certification or progression toward certification, a valid driver license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be certified welder or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.
• Welder apprenticeship level completed or three years welding experience.
• Read and comprehend regulations and instructions in local language(s).
• Valid driver license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Identify the general problem based on customer concern and locate the failure.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently and test equipment.
• Drive to customer sites and related locations to address on-site needs.
• Perform necessary repairs with customer approval and conduct basic maintenance as needed.
