Job summary

LiftOne is seeking Experienced Dock and Door Road Technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair loading dock systems and doors. You will perform preventative maintenance, document work, and manage a company van and parts inventory.

The role requires a valid driver license and basic computer skills. As a trusted member of our team, you will work on site at customer locations across the region, ensuring safety and high-quality service while supporting LiftOne's mission to keep critical goods

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or tech school graduate preferred.
• Must be certified welder or able to obtain certification within the first 30 days of being hired.
• Successful completion of the welder apprentice level or three years welding experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions written in the locally applicable language(s).
• Ability to perform duties at elevated heights.
• Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level.
• Basic Computer/Tablet knowledge (Microsoft and Apple operating systems).
• Valid driver license and clean driving record must be maintained throughout employment.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair loading dock and doors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment and recommend service as needed.
• Process paperwork upon job completion with proper documentation.
• Maintain company service van and parts inventory.
• Identify problems and ensure safe and efficient repairs.
• Drive to customer sites and parts pickups to address on-site needs.
