Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to maintain fleet equipment and handle service calls at client locations. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and reporting with a focus on customer service and safety compliance.

Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, 5 years of Class 7/8 technician experience, and a valid CDL with Medical card. A valid driver license and insurability are required. After-hours availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility.
• Current and valid CDL and Medical card required by FMVSS.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical ability are a must.
• Valid driver license with insurability according to company policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks including fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory on the service truck and keep vehicle stocked.
• Report to the Service Manager and perform daily assigned duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible schedule.
