Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking an FSO Technician to provide deskside and field support for clinicians and business users in Illinois. The role covers device deployment, incident resolution, asset handling, and on-site technical assistance to keep operations running smoothly.

You will handle Windows and Mac support, collaborate on Google Workspace and O365, perform imaging/deployment, and manage end-user devices and peripherals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of deskside/field support experience.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and O365.
• Knowledge of basic networking (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, VPN).

Responsibilities

• Provide deskside and remote support for Windows and Mac laptops/desktops.
• Troubleshoot issues in Google Workspace and O365; assist collaboration tooling.
• Image, stage, deploy devices and perform post-deployment validation.
• Configure and troubleshoot end-user devices and peripherals.
• Support mobile devices (iOS/Android) including enrollment and basic MDM.
• Manage tickets in ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool; provide updates and closure.
• Follow ITIL processes for incidents, requests, and asset handling.
• Assist with onboarding of new hires (accounts, devices, access).
• Ensure asset records are accurate in the asset management system.
• Perform asset tagging, inventory counts, and stockroom organization.
• Coordinate depot/vendor repairs and warranty replacements.
• Adhere to SLAs and healthcare security/compliance standards.
• Participate in rotational on-call and after-hours support when required.
