Werner Enterprises seeks a Field Area Delivery Operations Manager to own the delivery operations for a dedicated account and on-site staff, ensuring White Glove appliance service meets a 7-day model. Must work flexible weekends/holidays and address issues in real time.

The role includes supervising personnel, recruiting owner-operators, coordinating loading/unloading, and optimizing the transportation network across multiple locations with travel to 5–8 sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
• 3–5 years in warehouse management, distribution, or last-mile.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Supervise personnel including interviewing, hiring, training and performance.
• Manage delivery operations to meet on-time performance goals.
• Recruit owner-operators and maintain driver relationships.
• Schedule loading/unloading and dispatch equipment as needed.
• Travel to area cross docks/showrooms (5–8 locations).
