## Field Manager - Final MileApply: Onsite: Little Rock, AR: Full time: Posted Today: JR23607**Job Summary:**We are seeking a Field Area Delivery Operations Manager who will support and own the overall delivery operations of an assigned dedicated account and on-site staff to ensure transportation service expectations are met for a brand-new White Glove appliance start up to support a 7 day business model. Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays and be available to address operational issues in real time.**RESPONSIBILITIES****· 3-5 years effective in managing Consumer Goods / Delivery / Transportation / Appliance / Installations - Remote teams or drivers.**• Performs supervisory responsibilities to effectively manage personnel including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems. • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations while optimizing the transportation network. • Develops, implements and refines department policies and procedures to ensure overall effective departmental performance. • Schedules loading/unloading appointments and dispatches equipment as needed to assure daily on-time delivery. • Explores, implements and manages cost saving opportunities. • Road Warrior - Travels to area cross docks / showrooms (from 5 – 8 locations) • Adheres to company policies and procedures and ensures compliance. • Receives and carries out instructions. • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.• Recruits the owner operators – independent delivery contractors (of 26 ft box trucks)• Support the delivery of “White Glove” appliances in throughout the state of Texas**Requirements****· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, distribution, and four wall inventory control - preferably in big box consumer goods or last-mile distribution.**• Communicates effectively. • Demonstrates effective leadership. • Solves problems and makes decisions independently and proactively. • Manages multiple priorities and deadlines. • Uses computers and software programs proficiently. • Exhibits ability to read, write, talk and hear; add, subtract, multiply and divide; and lift and/or move up to 80 lbs. as required.• Valid Driver’s License /Road Warrior to support 6 locations.**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE** Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; three to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.We know benefits are critical and we are committed to offering comprehensive and affordable options for you and your loved ones.
